Word Paintings

My Word Paintings are fusions of Folk and Pop Art; acrylic on canvas paintings uniting one word with one image, portrayed in a vibrant palette of colors.

I created my first word painting in 1993 as a tribute to my husband (a professional accordion player).  I painted the word "Squeeze", with the image of an accordion and a concept was born.

My paintings were featured on the television series "Friends" in the 1996 season and again in the 2002 season. These paintings have been also exhibited in the Warner Bros. gallery stores and galleries such as: Excel Fine Art, The Jazz Gallery, Get Real Art, Gallery Eclectic, The Frank Miele Gallery, and more.
