This work combines my passion for both painting and collage. Using my deconstructed paintings, I challenge myself to reassemble the cut-up pieces of different paintings to create fresh new works. This is both an exhilarating and frightening experience for me because, in essence, I am destroying finished pieces to create something new and unexpected.
